The Valencia CF forward is through to the U21 EURO quarter-finals
Thierry Correia undertook his debut training session with Valencia CF on Thursday evening, as part a fortnight of firsts for the Portuguese.
After making his first appearance for his country at Under-21 level, against Gibraltar and Belarus, the new signing finally met his teammates and was put through a training session at the Ciudad Deportiva.
It was also his first encounter with new coach Albert Celades and his staff, who had taken over the previous day.
During the session he spent time working on adapting to the club's playing style, demonstrating his fitness and tactical awareness, as well as a connection with fellow Portuguese Gonçalo Guedes.
Speaking after the workout, Correia shared the following message on social media:
"A new phase in my life begins today. I'm very happy and motivated about this new challenge, and I want to thank Valencia CF for the trust they have shown in me. From now on I will do everything to achieve the club's objectives. Amunt Valencia!"
